For us, food begins with the flavours we remember and the people we share them with. Through JAS FNB, we bring together Nanyang Heritage and Ms Chin Noodle House, two brands with their own stories and a shared passion for familiar, comforting food.
Nanyang Heritage brings the flavours of Singapore, Malaysia and the wider Nanyang food tradition to the everyday table. Ms Chin Noodle House carries our grandmother's ban mian recipes forward, preserving a family flavour that began in Ipoh-Temoh, Malaysia, in 1975.
Our hope is to share these flavours with more people while keeping the care and character that make them feel like home. Here at Nordcom One in Gambas, we invite you to discover both brands, meet the stories behind our kitchen and find a meal you will look forward to having again.
The chef’s story
At Ms Chin Noodle House, Chef Ms Chin carries forward a family tradition rooted in our grandmother's ban mian recipes. The story began with a humble stall in Ipoh-Temoh in 1975, where freshly prepared noodles and carefully simmered broth brought comfort, bowl after bowl.
That tradition shapes the way we approach our food today. We want to preserve the familiar flavours, the care in preparation and the warmth that made our grandmother's food feel like home. What matters to us is that each bowl continues to carry the character of the recipe and the memory behind it.
Through two generations, this family flavour has travelled from Malaysia to Gambas, Singapore. With Ms Chin in the kitchen, we continue the journey, sharing a bowl of ban mian and the story that comes with it.
