Some flavours never fade. Even after decades, they still bring back the feeling of home.
The story of Ms Chin Banmian 陈小姐板面 began in Ipoh-Temoh town, Malaysia, in 1975.
Near the old railway area of Ipoh, our grandmother started a humble Ban Mian stall in a small town. There was no fancy decor or elaborate setting, just freshly prepared noodles, carefully simmered broth, and bowl after bowl of comforting Ban Mian made with heart.
As the years passed, the little stall witnessed changing times and generations. Through two generations of dedication, our grandmother's traditional recipe and the familiar taste of home continued to live on.
From one small town to another city,
from 1975 to today.
More than five decades later, this family flavour crossed cities and borders and found a new home in Gambas, Singapore, at Nordcom One.
Today, we continue what our grandmother started. What we carry forward is more than a family recipe, it is a memory of home, simplicity, warmth and the taste that brought generations together.
